A conference on “National Security Activities – Continuity” to celebrate the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the National Security Council (NSC) in Mongolia was held on May 25, 2022. The conference took place in the “Consultation” hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The conference was attended by the Secretary of the NSC J.Enkhbayar, Member of Parliament (MP) and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Security and Foreign Policy (SCSFP) B.Battumur, MP and Member of SCSFP D.Tsogtbaatar, Advisors to the President of Mongolia Ts.Togoo and E.Odbayar. Other distinguished guests included former secretaries of the NSC and chiefs of the Executive Office, senior experts, heads of organizations with special functions to ensure national security, and representatives from foreign policy and security institutions.
Former Secretary of the NSC J. Enkhsaikhan made a presentation on “30 years of National Security Council activities, experience and lessons learned”, meanwhile Deputy chief of the Executive office of the NSC, D. Munkh-Ochir, and former Head of the Information and Analysis Department of the NSC Ts. Davaadorj presented on the topic “Transition of the concept of national security and new goals and objectives” and held a discussion.
