The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), in cooperation with the Institute for Strategic Studies of Mongolia, organized a training program titled “Building Resilience to Climate- and Disaster-Induced Food and Energy Crises” in Ulaanbaatar from June 9 to 11, 2025. The training brought together more than 40 participants from 14 institutions, including the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, and the National Emergency Management Agency’s Institute for Disaster Research. Since 2015, UNESCAP has also co-organized the sub-session on economic and energy cooperation as part of the annual “Ulaanbaatar Dialogue” international conference.
