During the “Ulaanbaatar Dialogue” international conference on Northeast Asian security, director of ISS Dr. J. Mendee conducted meeting with the Director of the International Institute of Central Asia, Ambassador Javlon Vakhabov, and researcher Kadambai Sultanov. During the meeting, a Memorandum of understanding was signed between the two institutes and exchanged positions on future cooperation. Director Mendee held a meeting with delegation from the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Uzbekistan. During the meeting a memorandum of cooperation between the ISS and ISRS was signed. This event is unique in that it is taking place before the visit of the President of the Uzbekistan to Mongolia.
