This year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Russian Federation. On this occasion, Konstantin Kosachev, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation made an official visit. During the visit, on November 5, Mr. Kosachev met with National Security Council’s experts and ISS researchers to exchange views on bilateral relations and international security issues. Mr. Kosachev highlighted the strategic importance of Mongolia in Russia’s foreign policy, and stressed that economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation should not be neglected in the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
