President of Mongolia and Commander-in-Chief of the Mongolian Armed Forces Khurelsukh Ukhnaa awarded state decorations to service members of the 12th Mongolian contingent to the UN peacekeeping mission in the Republic of South Sudan. A Mongolian infantry battalion consists of 850 peacekeepers deployed from 2011 to support newly independent South Sudan in framework of UN effort to protect the civilians and help build nation.
