The annual “Mongolia-China Friendship Week” is taking place in Ulaanbaatar city, as well as Dornod and Arkhangai aimags on September 25-30, 2023.
The organizers emphasized that the annual “Mongolia-China Friendship Week” plays an important role in supporting the expansion of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, as well as in strengthening mutual knowledge and understanding between the peoples.
During the opening ceremony, G. Batsukh, head of the Mongolia-China Friendship Association said, “We will further develop mоге the friendship between two countries, which has been cherished until today.”
Li Ji, adviser of the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia and head of the Chinese Cultural Center in Ulaanbaatar, said, “China and Mongolia are good neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. It plays an important role in interpersonal and humanitarian exchanges. Among the activities organized this year, Chinese film were premiered as part of Inner Mongolia Culture Days, and the TV series “Happiness Town – Three” was presented to Education Channel. In the future, many activities will be organized step by step.”
Within the Friendship Week, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute of International Studies jointly organized a round table discussion on the topic of “Mongolia-China relations and prospects”. In addition, events such as photo exhibitions, documentaries broadcast on television channels, and contests for the best articles are being organized during the Friendship Week.
The leadership and representatives of Liaoning Province, Tibet Autonomous Region of China attended the opening ceremony of “Mongolia-China Friendship Week”.
