During the Astana Think Tank Forum, ISS conducted meetings to deepen its ties with key think tanks of Kazakhstan. On October 17, Dr. Mendee Jargalsaikhan, Director of the ISS, had a bilateral meeting with Dr. Yerkin Tukumov, Director, Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Moreover, Director Mendee signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ambassador Bolat Nurgaliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Policy Research Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
