The Institute for Strategic Studies of Mongolia and Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI APCSS) organized the first Mongolia – U.S. Security Dialogue in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Opening the Security Dialogue, Brigadier General B Davaadorj, Director of ISS, welcomed the delegates from the DKI APCSS and highlighted the importance of the academic cooperation between two institutes. Rear Admiral (retired) Peter Gumataotao, Director, Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, expressed his appreciation to ISS for hosting this event, and expressed his confidence in promoting academic collaboration. The main purpose of the dialogue is to exchange views regarding the security of Asia – Pacific region and to introduce the critical thinking approach of the security studies.
