Institute for Strategic Studies (ISS) held a roundtable discussion on the implementation of air pollution reduction policies and activities, pressing issues and solutions with emphasis on Ulaanbaatar air pollution among representatives of relevant government, non-government (international) and academic organizations on October 20, 2022.
The participants included B. Altanzul, Secretary of the National Committee for Environmental Pollution Reduction and Head of the Office, Ms. Annaka Peterson, the Country Representative in Mongolia of the Global green growth initiative (GGGI), experts from the Metropolitan air pollution prevention agency, and academics from the National University of Mongolia as well as experts from the ISS. The participants exchanged information and talked about the cooperation opportunities in reducing environmental pollution.
