The Government of Mongolia and the International Trade Center are going to jointly organize the World Export Development Forum under the auspices of the President of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar. The forum will be held under the theme “Diversify with Green Trade; explores organic, digital and sustainable solutions to multiple crises” between June 27-28, 2023.
The opening ceremony to announce the World Export Development Forum was held on February 15 at the International Trade Center in Geneva, Switzerland, and attended by the resident representative of the UN in Mongolia, diplomatic missions, international organizations based in Geneva, and the representatives of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The World Export Development Forum has been held annually since 1999 with the participation and support of the International Trade Centre-ITC based in Geneva. In the past, the forum was organized in 19 countries in cooperation with their Governments.
Organizing the World Export Development Forum in Mongolia will bring the following opportunities.
- To improve Mongolia’s reputation in the global arena;
- To enable exporters to promote their services and products to foreign partners and investors and establish a new agreement;
- To enable domestic small and medium-sized enterprises to find new opportunities for exportation and entrepreneurs to hold meetings and talks with representatives of international organizations that support trade;
- To exchange views on difficulties and problems in exportation, and share information and experiences with foreign countries.
