The Institute for Strategic studies of Mongolia and the National Institute for Security Studies of Mongolia jointly organized a “French-Mongolian strategic dialogue” with French Ministry of Armed Forces (DGRIS) and Institute for Strategic Research (IRSEM).
During the dialogue, both sides were exchanged ideas on Northeast Asian security challenges, the current state of strategic partnership relations cooperation between the two countries, including people-to-people relations, and activities to be implemented jointly by the two countries in the future.
Director of the Institute for Strategic studies of Mongolia professor, brigadier general B. Davaadorj, and the Director of the National Institute for Security Studies doctor O.Mashbat both headed discussion from Mongolian side, representatives of the Ministry of Defense also attended the discussion. From the Republic of France, Major General Patrik Steiger, head of the international security cooperation department, General Directorate of International Relations and Strategy of the French Ministry of Armed Forces leaded the delegation of researchers.
