The Institute for Strategic Studies of the National Security Council of Mongolia and the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) organized the first networking group meeting with a theme of “The Role of the Military and Law Enforcement Agencies in Democracies” on June 20, 2022.
The purpose of this meeting was to provide a platform for young professionals in the defense, security and law enforcement agencies to engage in research projects, present their innovative ideas, and exchange their expertise in order to deepen their theoretical and practical knowledge. Dr. Albrecht Schnabel, Head of Asia-Pacific Unit at DCAF, introduced the DCAF and security sector governance principles and challenges in general.
