Biography:

Dr. Otgonsuren Buyankhishig is the Head of Center for International Security Studies of the ISS.

Dr. Otgonsuren Buyankhishig has earned bachelor’s degree from the School of Arts and Physical Education of Mongolian National University of Education, Master’s degree from University of Humanity of Mongolia and Ph.D degree at Wuhan University, China (2009). She participated in a training course of Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies at Honolulu, Hawaii, and advanced security course of G.C Marshall European Center for Security Studies at Germany.

 Dr. Otgonsuren  was  a Professor of Mongolian National University of Education (2004-2004) and a Researcher at Mongolian Academy of Sciences (2009-2012). Since 2013, she has been working at the Institute for Strategic Studies, Mongolia.  She was a visiting scholar at the China’s Institute for Contemporary International Relations (2014) and  Academy of International Relations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC (2016).
