The Center for Strategic Studies<\/strong>

In an effort to conduct study on the peace and security situation of Mongolia in the context of the international military and strategic environment, the Center for Strategic Studies was first established within the Institute for Military History.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The library was officially established to serve as an academic research archive for broader security sectors community at the Center for Strategic Studies.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Center for Strategic Studies was re-organized as the Institute for Strategic Studies by the order of the Minister of Defense with an approved staff of ten.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cStrategic studies\u201d Journal<\/strong>
November 15, 1993
The military research journal \u201cSoyombo\u201d was renamed as \u201cStrategic Studies\u201d and a state registration certificate was authorized by the Ministry of Justice. Today, the quarterly journal is distributed not only to decision makers in Mongolia, it is also available to major universities and institutes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific<\/strong>

As part of our initiative, the Institute for Strategic Studies became a member committee to represent Mongolia to the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific (CSCAP), a prestigious international organization with the aim of building trust and developing security cooperation between countries in the region.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
